How we work

SDV Sector runs an AI-assisted newsroom. Software monitors several hundred primary sources around the clock, drafts our articles and assembles our newsletter. Every article is reviewed, edited and approved by a human editor before publication, and the responsible publisher is accountable for everything we publish.

We link the primary source in every story. Where no primary source is reachable, we say so and attribute the report to the outlet that carried it, or we do not publish. We never publish paywalled content, we rewrite rather than copy, and we correct our mistakes openly (see Corrections). Press releases in our Press Room are published as submitted and are labelled as non-editorial content.
